insert title here

Well winterfest was fun, even though I almost had to be dragged there, it was totally worth it. on those brief and luckily swift journeys into the dance room, i once again began to lose faith in the future of humanity. people just scare me. also edina day scared me, actually. people are told that a certain day is "city spirit day" and they all dressed up! all of them! remarkably few exceptions! And apparently, I have no spirit, i'm dressed in emo clothes and "you guys are so weird!" Whatever. maybe i can't argue with those.

today me and mira went to ragstock just to look around and see what kind of clothes they had and we both got new hats! not that they'll ever replace our "british caps". Mine is sorta really dark blue/green/black plaid. Anyway, ragstock is cool, but shopping still sorta sucks X]

On friday we used the Bunsen burners (yay, fire!) and we kept on ruining the flame in the attempt to get the "cone effect" right. So basically, by the end we had vented so much gas that we were all feeling sort of light headed, (great day to have the math quiz next period, I think i screwed up one of the proofs because i forgot a theorem). Oh, and I asked the science teacher what kind of gas it was and her plain and quite intelligent response was "It's gas."

we're doing a freaking documentary in LRT about ourselves. i do NOT want to show my stoopy, intelligence-challenged, mainstream-obsessed LRT class anything about my life. we have to have like 10 events. My life is like boring in the way that nothing extreme has happened to me. Maybe i'll make up some injuries that i got. "yeah, then i was in a bike crash and i fractured my... esophagus." There's just nothing interesting! I have 3 /10 right now. The only good part is that you get to add your own music to it. but it has to be clean. that's challenging.

I <3 start of the quarter. there's like no homework! hallelujah!

Easier Said Than Done

So now my cousin and uncle are here from California, and my brother left on a band trip, so they're staying in his room. My mom stripped my brother's bed and asked me to remake it with clean sheets. Sure. I can make a bed, those are very elementary skills. Well it turns out I don't have very elementary skills. Let's just say... I hate contour sheets. And pillow cases. They're never quite big enough. it's almost as frustrating as listening to my science teacher spout crap.

besides me moaning about how I can't even, like, make a bed, it turns out my guitar hero skills are hurting pretty bad. but it was hilarious. Me and my cousin "tried" to play guitar hero last night and it was quite humorous. First of all, the guitars were like sucking, like the green button wouldn't work, or the "little red light" would turn off and we'd have to press a button to get it on again because the red light has some sort of essential significance. We finally got it working, but then either my cousin or the guitar messed up and we named our new band 'AAAAAAAAAAAAAA' which might describe people's reaction when they hear us play. next we had to choose our characters. well it turns out theres some unwritten rule that none of the girl characters on guitar hero can bother dragging on a shirt in the morning so I went with some messed up character, that looks like a chinese school girl who fell in multiple vats of neon dye. And he chose some charming guy with a mohawk and no shirt. sheesh, these people need some clothes. Then we started playing, he got the bass part on easy, which is the easiest you can go, and I got the guitar part on medium, which is as medium as you can go. we did okay until he chose the guitar line. Once we failed 98% through the song. that should be illegal.

the teachers pretend that they're nice and don't give you homework (except for the science teacher) except for I have a bunch of projects due very soon after we get back

Science: normal homework, like test review. and the freaking Current Events project
LA: Book speech and project, like a diorama, i think i'm doing.
SS: Book project and WW2 project, low stress, but deceivingly so.
It doesn't help that in gym we're going to have our fitness tests. leave me alone. /emo\
I am so happy that math isn't that kind of class. It's great because the only thing that isn't like "1-25 5-6" is quizzes and tests and I don't study for those.

Today i am going to do the LA thing! And yes, I am putting off current events till last. because it's crud

Weird music, random post

I'm just going to post about random things. Well nothing happened during lunch today, because it was the day of rest and we didn't even have knowledge masters.

So my brother got this cd from his friend that I doubt he has even heard, but I took it and am obsessed with a few songs on it. One is really weird, and I don't know why I like it so much. I wonder if you can send nicotine through speakers. That would explain it. It's a bit too screamy for my liking. But considering I like it, I'm being a bit contradictory.

Science today was a nightmare as usually, we got like a billion hand outs and a bunch of homework. The science teacher was being just as stoopy and our homework assignments were stoopy too. I hate predicting things about something that I don't know about at all. Like... lima bean seeds? We did the freaking seed lab last year!!! Once again, it's stoopy! We were just like "it's going to have 4 3 mm leaves and it's going to be shorter if there's less light." Yay. So I raised my hand like for 5 minutes and the teacher told us to hold our thoughts till the end. So in the end people started asking questions and she answered so I put up my hand again, she ignored it and went on. So I walked up and asked her the question (a bit more angrily than necessarily, but she wouldn't notice if somebody yelled in her ear.) "how are we supposed to find a newspaper article about light and color?" and she was like "there could be one about lasers... or... yeah." and I was pretty pissed so i was like "so we just hope that a newspaper article is posted about lasers?!!" and she was like "you find one" so I whirled around and sat back down. But I seriously didn't think she noticed how angry I was.

Our math teacher told us about when he was swimming with sharks and pretending to be a pirate in math class. He put his white board marker in his mouth. But he didn't fulfill his promise to do math stealthily in honor of Ninja Day. It was more of a review day. He's awesome. And during work time we got just about every family guy episode summarized by the guy who sits next to me. It was really weird, not to mention distracting.

Yeah... ummm. I finished New Moon! omg@theending. It was erm... surprising!! But it wasn't the kind of ending where you're like "nooo" and are sad. It was just like "holy crap! okay!" Oh, E2, you know what I'm talking about. There's going to be a Twilight movie coming out. I can't imagine the book making a good movie. No way.

Genesis is awesome! And less weird than the other stuff mentioned! Yay!

Ummm. I think I'm done. Yeah pretty much. Okay.
