Numbered

This post is going to be orderly numbered. because i feel orderly and numbered today.

1. first of all i'd like to give a big cheer to today, which was one of the only a-days that didn't make me want to a. tear my own hair out. b. sob uncontrollably into a random passer-by's shoulder. c. go on a homicidal streak. d. curl up into a ball under my desk with my hands over my neck. (think of the tornado protection position.) I felt like I learned some stuff in science (LE GASP) and math (maybe that's because i paid closer attention than usual. by a rule of thumb, you only need to listen to .4 of the stuff that math teachers say to get an A-B, on average.) Band, which was looking like a dark and bleak horizon seems okay now. i did my playing test and i got a 90, which pisses me off but i won't go into details (my anger doesn't have to do with the fact that i got an A-, i don't give a ****) LRT, we watched all of the photo stories and they made the annual "scare people out of being in enriched classes" speech. Basically it was like "don't join enriched language arts unless you want all of your grades to suffer, your family to die, never to sleep again, and to go into tax debt." and "don't join enriched physics unless you want to get cancer, lose a limb, become clinicly depressed and lose all freetime". I've decided that i'm joining both. goodbye cruel world. anyway, that was a looong #1. my day wasn't bad. it was productive.

2. Math was rather funny today, there were just a couple of funny things people said.
-Ninja turtles: somebody asked the math teacher what his favorite artist was and he said maybe De Vinci. then somebody told him that it couldn't be de vinci because that was a ninja turtle. he was surprised to hear that and even more surprised, and furious to hear that all of the ninja turtles were named after artists. his response was. "my god. Oh my god! Oh my god!" and you could hear all of the christians in the class muttering "gosh... it's gosh" so many people hissed that it sounded like a nest of snakes.
-Compartments: Phisoa and mira will get this. Somehow the topic got to counting cards in Vegas and a girl in my class was like "gosh, that would be really hard to count them. you'd need like, different compartments in your brain to sort the information" I almost cracked up. compartments in your brain to sort information? that sounds familiar. Oh and also, the guy next to me was like "not unless your Adrian Monk" and everybody started talking about Monk, which is awesome.

3. I beat like Delirium on ITG (a harder version of DDR) on hard. yay! God, ddr is my winter sanctuary. and i forgot about it till know so it feels so nice again. I haven't run around (or something of the like) since gym class. Running around outside on the ice and snow while wearing so many layers that you feel like a marshmellow, in winter boots=no. maybe some of you guys can, but i'd probably break my neck.

4. I'm just adding the grace notes to my solo for solofest. I like it, surprisingly. It's Serenade by Jos. Haydn. (sound familiar? he was the answer to one of our AT questions the first meet i think.)

5. Speaking of AT, that was pretty awesome. though they are so frikkin paranoid this year. they didn't let other teams in to look at our meet, a parent had to be in the PARTY room to make sure we didn't commit arson, no running(what ev.s), etc.

6. I finished the collage in art. that was awesome. now we get to make fonts.

7. that is all. good day.

Yay! We both did long posts today. I am doing both enriched classes, too. Hopefully we will be on the same team next year. And maybe (gasp) be in some classes together other than Spanish. That would be beyond epicness.
